Marty, Mike, and the whole team at Neighborhood Mortgage were amazing!!!! They helped us with our loan for our dream country farmhouse on acreage and they made the process so easy and stress free from pre-approval letters as we were shopping, and then a seamless process after the offer all the way to closing! We were selling and buying concurrently (always challenging and stressful) and had some crazy issues in the process that had us worried about the timelines but Marty and the team worked in sync with our realtor to get everything closed on both sides insanely fast, AND they were right on top of the market craziness to get us rate locked when the bond markets took an unexpected intraday dip. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Communication was always timely and on point, and the whole team are consummate professionals through and through! Definitely give them a call if you’re in the market - if they can’t make it happen, NOBODY can.

I like the fact that they're not locked into one lending institution and can shop for the best rate. After the initial loan was established they were able to drop the interest rate twice with no additional cost to me. If the need arises I will definitely use them again.

I rarely write reviews however when you get lucky enough to work with Jon Maguire and Shawna you make the time and you do just that. I’ve purchased 4 homes in last 2.5 years and have used a few lenders however I would never ever use a different person from here on out. Jon is a master at his job and finding the best rates and even our closing costs were significantly less. If you’re in the market don’t go anywhere else this Man made some impossible possible :). Thank u Jon and Shawna for being experts at what you do!!!!

He stayed in contact with us from start to finish, and we had a little scare at closing when financing approval was delayed but as soon as we called him he made a call and got it pushed through immediately. I must say Jennifer Brown with Neighborhood Mortgage helped me tremendously. I was moving through the legal stages of divorce. I needed to decide my future living arrangements. Unlike many mortgage companies, Jennifer took the time to help me figure out which was best option for me at this financial stage in my life. Buying again vs. Renting? down payments, monthly payments, staying within my monthly budget, and how long did I plan to stay in GA? So many variables went into this other than just getting prequalified, finding a place and moving on. Jennifer did not treat me as just another mortgage. In fact based on the information I provided it was not in my best interest to buy right away. I appreciated Ms. Brown’s honesty and hard work. She could have given me a loan and sent me on my way. However, we decided on other options and that is what makes her FAR ABOVE the rest. Thank you Jennifer and to Neighborhood Mortgage for the prompt responses, professionalism and most of all going above and beyond.

Although I was purchasing my 2nd home, it had been a while, so I had many questions, which he welcomed and made me feel comfortable asking. His thorough practice made the process smooth. I received a checklist of what to expect along the way, which put my mind at ease. He was readily available to answer my calls, texts, and emails, which is very important during this life changing process. I recommend using Houston, at Neighborhood Mortgage, as you don't get this intimate treatment with most establishments.
